Church urged to stop bauxite mine in India

Bianca Jagger and Survival International (UK, RLA 1989) back indigenous people who protest against the opening of a bauxite mine in a sacred part of India.

One of the shareholders of the mining company Vendanta is the church of England, which is asked to use its power to hold Vendanta accountable to ensure ethical behaviour.
