Hissène Habré to face war crimes trial

Chadian former dictator Hissène Habré got arrested. It is a major step towards justice for the victims of his brutal regime.
Right Livelihood Laureate Jacqueline Moudeina has been fighting fearlessly to bring Habré to justice. In an email to the RLA Foundation on July 3rd, she commented: “C’est une victoire pour les victimes. Les tyrans, les dictateurs et leurs complices tremblent.” (This is a victory for the victims. Tyrants, dictators and their accomplices tremble.”)
