The 30th Anniversary Conference commences

The 30th Anniversary Conference of the Right Livelihood Award is in full swing. About 75 of our Laureates from around the world are gathered in Bonn, Germany.

The Conference started with the Laureates signing the Golden Book of the City of Bonn in a solemn ceremony. This was the longest entry in the history of the Golden Book.

The day continued with internal workshop sessions with mutual learning, teaching and inspiring.
Discussed topics were for instance the global water crisis and the movement to protect the water commons, possible peace solutions for Afghanistan, social transformation, food security, patents on life and geo-engineering.
