Freedom of the Press Foundation (FPF) is a non-profit organisation that protects, defends and empowers public-interest journalism. They provide Right Livelihood Laureates and staff with high-level digital security training.

With around 3 million visitors a year, Stockholm House of Culture & City Theatre, or Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, in the heart of Stockholm is one of Sweden’s most well-visited cultural institutions. Together, we provide opportunities for people to engage in conversations on burning issues shaping our future. The new Right Livelihood Laureates are announced at a press conference at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, and we organise joint public events involving change-makers year-round.
