National University of Córdoba

The RLC Campus at the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, is hosted by the Faculty of Psychology, which has more than 10,000 students enrolled. Founded by Right Livelihood Laureate Raúl Montenegro, it was inaugurated in April 2016.

The National University of Córdoba has a long history of promoting democracy and human rights. In June 1918, thousands of students at the University launched a movement to fight for truer democratization of the nation’s academic faculties, which at the time were largely tied to political and religious institutions.

In this spirit, RLC Córdoba engages with movements, communities and activities over a wide range of topics. These include joint work with indigenous and non-indigenous people on issues like antinuclear movements; reduction of ionizing, non-ionizing and chemical pollution; hazards of GMOs; biodiversity protection, fights against corruption and violation of human rights, etc.

For more information on scholarships and activities please visit the RLC website.
