The University of Bonn

The Campus in Bonn, Germany, is based at the Center for Development Research (ZEF), an independent research institute at the University of Bonn. It became a Right Livelihood College (RLC) Campus in 2010 and since 2014, it has hosted the Global Secretariat of the College.

Activities of the Campus include research projects on social justice, poverty and inequality reduction, and environmental sustainability in the Global South, international scientific workshops, public talks with Right Livelihood Laureates in Bonn, three-year doctoral scholarships, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service, and workshop scholarships for outstanding doctoral students from the Global South.

The Right Livelihood Centre of the University of Zurich, acts as a hub between Right Livelihood, the University of Zurich (UZH) and the public. The Centre contributes to teaching, continuing education and public relations to make Laureates’ knowledge and practical work accessible.

The Bangkok Campus is hosted by the School for Wellbeing Studies and Research, an independent action-research platform, centre of advocacy and informal higher learning lab. The Campus was established in 2009.

The Centre for Livelihoods and Social Innovation is a centre in the School of Social Work at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences that aims to develop meaningful livelihood initiatives for the poor and marginalised in the country. In May 2014, the Centre joined as an RLC Campus in Asia.

The RLC Campus is hosted by the Institute for Social Transformation at the University of California, which develops research-based solutions to urgent problems. The Campus has kept its links with Kresge College, where it was started in November 2013.
