Back Seat Heroes – Photo Exhibition about our Laureates

During the Right Livelihood Award’s 30th Anniversary gathering in Bonn in 2010, photographer Katharina Mouratidi portrayed 40 of our Laureates. The series called Back Seat Heroes will be shown for the very first time in an exhibition in Bonn, Germany.
The exhibition at Rheinisches Landesmuseum in Bonn will be open between June 6 and July 8, 2012. The exhibition is bi-lingual (German & English).
An accompanying book will be published in October 2012 by Kehrer-Verlag, Heidelberg. It includes a foreword by RLA founder Jakob von Uexkull.
Katharina Mouratidi is a freelance photographer situated in Berlin. Her projects and features have reached a broad international audience in many countries.
